Silver pebbles are one of the most fashionable natural decorative stones and an extremely low-maintenance material. They are ideal for modern, minimalist, Scandinavian or Mediterranean garden designs. Their subtle grey tone with a silver shimmer brightens the garden, contrasts beautifully with plants and creates a luxurious effect without additional maintenance. Impregnation is not required, but rinsing with water once a year in spring helps maintain the delicate shine. They look excellent with ornamental grasses, conifers, hydrangeas, architectural concrete, paving stones and light garden furniture.

Key properties of Silver pebbles
  • Rock type — grey Greek marble, mechanically rounded
  • Color — light grey / silver-grey / pearly grey; when dry – subtle matte grey; when wet or after rain – darker graphite with a noticeable silver metallic sheen
  • Shape — perfectly rounded and smooth with no sharp edges
  • Hardness — medium to high (approx. 3–6 on the Mohs scale), suitable for decorative applications but not for heavy vehicle traffic
  • Frost resistance — full (F1–F2), excellent in Polish climate conditions – does not crack or flake
  • Water absorption — low to moderate (0.5–2%), absorbs minimal water but the color becomes more intense when wet (graphite effect)
  • Weather resistance — very good: does not fade, does not easily grow moss, color remains stable for years
  • Aesthetics — elegant, modern and minimalist; silver shimmer in sunlight creates a subtle contrast with greenery, concrete, wood and light façades
  • Natural, eco-friendly material without artificial pigments
